And God said, “Let there be a vault between the waters to separate water from water.”
7 So God made the vault and separated the water under the vault from the water above it. And it was so.
8 God called the vault “sky.” And there was evening, and there was morning—the second day.
Man walked the land of the garden. He explored the rivers and gave names to places. He came to know the garden. He did all sorts of things but the one thing he did not do was eat the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. He did not die. He did not become the caretaker.
God had evaluated his creations from day 1, he continued with with the part called earth. In particular the deep called waters, meaning fluid and moving. Even more particular God separated water from water and called the space between them sky.
God gathered water in a place and in another place he gathered the solid ground. God continued with the plan from his garden. God formed rivers and rain to prepare land for the trees and plants. God's garden was also in this place. From the garden man watched and waited.
